The outrage regarding Presidents Obama's speech to the school children last month was met with ridicule by the left. After all, how could anyone object to the President of the United States telling America's school children to stay in school, study hard and not make excuses? Many don't know that there was a larger agenda-which was changed when the backlash began. The plans to have the children write essays as to how they were going to "help President Obama" were scrapped due the controversy. Now we have another more clear example of how Obama automatons in the teachers unions are indoctrinating America's children. There is a famous commercial from a few years ago where a guys says "I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV". Well pretty soon playing a doctor will earn you more than being a real one. After the soon to be passed health care bill takes effect, the medical profession will lose not only many practitioners but also prestige. The Canadians have traditionally come to the US seeking higher pay which they cannot obtain in their own salary capped government run system. Polls suggest that some doctors will either retire or leave the profession altogether. Dear Mr. Olbermann I have watched your show/network a few times over the past couple of months and It is evident as to why you're a perennial ratings loser. Approximately 50% of your coverage is spent either attacking Fox news or insulting the intelligence of Sarah Palin, George Bush, Glenn Beck and other conservatives/ Republicans. It is not difficult to figure out that one source of your bitterness is the fact that Fox news consistently kicks your far left behind every single night in the ratings. Perhaps if you spent a little more time on actual substance, you could one day climb out of the ratings basement. I has a discussion with a dear friend regarding what I thought was President Obama's ill advised comments about the Kanye West debacle. During an off the record moment while preparing for an interview Obama referred to Kanya as a "jackass". My assertion was that out of all the things going on in the world why would the President of the United States even comment on such pop culture none sense? I am beginning to think that one of the side effects of Obamania is memory loss. The firestorm that has erupted after Congressman Joe Wilson's outburst during President Obama's Health care address to a joint session of congress. The disputed point made by Obama that seemed to spark Wilson's Ire was the issue of weather or not illegal immigrants would be covered by the public option under Obama's heath care plan.
