Time To Be Heard Was About Time

The recent Glenn Beck Program which featured an audience filled with black conservatives was a long time coming. Yours truly was fortunate enough to be a participant on the show and it was a great experience. It was so refreshing to be in the presence of knowledgeable people for a change. Unlike my normal experience of being surrounded by clueless Obama cool-aid drinking liberals. I had conversations with brilliant minds like Robert Broadus, a candidate for political office with whom I had an engaging debate about Abraham Lincoln. There was a noticeable excitement before the show as evidenced by the many conversations going on. Most conservatives do not have the opportunity to speak to those of like minds given the fact that 90% of blacks are born and raised left wing.

The term "black conservative" is still somewhat problematic for me. Given the fact that I am very familiar with our history in this country and that the term conveys some sort of irony. The real irony is that given the history of racism and segregation in this country perpetrated by democrats it's ironic that blacks are ultra loyal to that party-which has zero civil rights accomplishments. Those of us who know the truth are aware of the conservative history of Blacks in America prior to the civil right movement. In spite of all the negative attacks on Fox News by the liberal media, I thank god for Fox News. What other network would have given a forum to blacks who don't possess liberal views? Thank you Glenn Beck.
