What If Black America Were Conservative?
The City Of Detroit's economic woes have been in the headlines for many years. Its bankruptcy has been well covered in the media for the past several months. Urban blight, corruption, job loss, crime, loss of population and massive debt will keep the city on its heels for years to come. Detroit is one of many city's that have become synonymous with Economic decay. Cities like Philadelphia, Baltimore, Newark, New Orleans, and St. Louis are not far behind. These cities boast large numbers of blacks and redundantly Democratic liberal voters; Detroit has not elected a Republican mayor since 1962. According to Bay Area Center For Voting Research, Detroit is the most Liberal Large City in America. The last half century in Detroit has been a black liberal paradise; majority black population, union control, black majority in city council and its had exclusively black Mayors since 1974. 50 years of liberal dominance has resulted in a perplexing social and economic basket case.
Detroit on numerous occasions has been named the murder capital of America, its lost over half its population to the tune of 61% over the past half century and job losses have devastated its tax base, contributing to the cities suffocating debt $18 billion debt. Detroit has existed in a hermetically sealed liberal envelope for decades and the results are in: Liberal policies and/or left wing thinking do not produce good results. What if Detroit's overwhelming black majority were 95% conservative instead of left wing? What if over the past several decades the residents practiced personal and fiscal responsibility and free market capitalism? What if the black youth of Detroit were taught discipline, self government and that education was essential to their success? What if conservative values of entrepreneurship and less regulation were embraced? Does anyone think that the city would be in the same situation? Would Detroit's neighborhoods be ravaged with drugs, crime and unemployment?
In my opinion the answers to the above is Detroit would be the thriving economic and social Juggernaut it was a half century ago if it were populated by conservative blacks. If Black America in general were largely conservative we would have far less crime, far fewer politicians and very little need for Democratic nannies to help us improve our lives. We would certainly have more respect from the masses as we would not be seen as victims. There would be no Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson or Cornell West-that thought alone is erotic. What do I base this on? There are no conservative equivalents to Detroit, St. Louis, New Orleans or any other left wing dominated city. Cities and States that are run by Republicans have higher economic growth, lower unemployment, less crime and quite often attract liberals seeking a better quality of life. After all people in large numbers do not leave red States to live in blue ones.
If black America were conservative, the "prison industrial complex" that the left laments would be a non-issue as black men and women would be far more effective in policing themselves. The government would also be smaller, with more in tact families the welfare state would be a virtual non factor in black life. If black America were predominantly Conservative instead of liberal, would black quality of life be better or worse? The answer is obvious. Given that the left's money machine spends tens of millions of dollars on manipulating the minds of blacks through disinformation via black radio and MSNBC, one can't expect that black America won't be taking a turn to the right anytime soon-which is not good news for Detroit or America.
